Fiberglate

Fiberglate (definition): when one speaks, with utmost confidence, regarding a topic about which one knows nothing. The level of confidence is inversely proportional to the actual degree of knowledge. Example:

Caroline: How is a bottle rocket propelled?

Brett: Well, as everyone knows, the turbo entabulator overcomes the universal force detractors to coincide with the cardinal grameters. In addition, there is the modial interaction of magneto reluctance and capacitive directance. Or it could be the prefamulated amulite.

Caroline: I think you are fiberglating.

Click here for the classic example. Quality is sketchy.

I would like to mention that it can also be used as an adjective. For example, you might say to someone "that is a very fiberglatory statement you just made."
